BOOKINGS
Please be aware once you have booked and paid for your session, Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms is under no obligation to provide refunds (see REFUNDS below).
CHANGING TIMES AND VENUES
If Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms need to amend your session time or the venue at which your session is held they will endeavour to provide you with a minimum of 7 day’s notice. Where the start time is altered by less than 30 minutes and/or the venue is located within a 1-mile radius of original planned venue, no refunds will be offered.
VALUABLES
All property taken to any sessions is left at your own risk. Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms holds no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions before, during or after sessions.
HEALTH AND SAFETY/HOUSEKEEPING
Whilst you are waiting for your sessions please keep noise to a minimum so that all sessions can take place in a calm atmosphere. Please be respectful of other clients in your session if relevant by ensuring that any personal belongings are neatly stored at the side of the room so that they are not a trip hazard and please make sure your mobile phone is on silent. Please ensure Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms is aware if your current email address, contact number and emergency contact number and any changes. They can only notify you in the event of a cancelled class, if they have up- to-date contact information for you.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
In the absence of any proven negligence, lack of due diligence or breach of duty by Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms, participation is done so entirely at your own risk.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
Our sessions are generally considered a safe practice, but it is vital that you inform Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms of any medical conditions or medication which might affect your session. All information is treated sensitively and in confidence. Medical Conditions that may affect participation in the sessions are:
- Physical Injury including but not limited to: Head/Neck/Shoulder/Back/Knee/Spinal Injury
- High/Low Blood Pressure
- Epilepsy
- Pregnancy
- Metal Implants/plates
- Pacemaker
- Seizures/Epilepsy
- Asthma/Breathing Conditions
- Mental Health Conditions including but not limited to: PTSD/Bi-Polar/Depression
- Suicidal Feelings
- Sensitivity to smell/essential oils
Please make Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms aware should you have any of the conditions listed above and take advice from a medical professional before participating in a session if required. ***Please note that certain medications may present a contraindication regarding the use of essential oils in a session. Please notify Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms prior to starting a session if you are on any medications so that they can check sensitivity and adjust the essential oils used as appropriate.*** It is your responsibility to keep Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms up to date with any conditions you may have and advise them of any new conditions or complications. In the absence of any proven negligence, lack of due diligence or breach of duty by Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms, its local providers or employees, Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms accept no responsibility for adverse physical or emotional effects, or changes to your condition sustained as a result of participation in their sessions or from employing our techniques outside of the session setting.
WITHDRAWAL OF SERVICE
Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms may at their own discretion refuse entry to a client into its sessions.
Should the working area be considered unsafe Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms reserves the right to cancel the session without refund.
WORKING HOURS FOR SPACE CLEARING & CLEANSING
Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms offers an initial online Zoom or telephone consultation of up to 15 minutes before your first session. During the consultation we will work with you to determine how many hours you may require. It is not always possible however to give an accurate estimate and some projects may require more sessions/hours than initially thought, depending on a variety of factors as each project and client is unique.
One session typically lasts up to 3 hours. Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms will always inform you when the booked time is up and obtain your permission to continue if you wish to do so.
When doing decluttering with you, Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms will always work at your own pace as decluttering can be physically and emotionally demanding. Breaks can be taken as you require, however please be aware that these breaks will count towards the duration of the booked session. Should the session duration take place during breakfast, lunchtime or dinner, our organiser may need to take a break (no more than half an hour) and you will not be charged for this time. This will be arranged prior to the session starting so you are aware of timings.
Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms work Monday to Friday 9.15 am – 2.45pm. Weekends, bank holidays and after-hours sessions can be arranged at an additional cost.
ACCESS
Please ensure there is good access immediately outside your home and inside your home. Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms are unable to move furniture due to reasons of health and safety.
Should the working area be considered unsafe Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms reserves the right to cancel the session without refund.
BEST PRACTICE
Decluttering focuses on deciding which of your possessions and items you want to keep. Through this process, you may find yourself parting with possessions or items that you decide you no longer need. The decision to keep or discard an item is entirely yours. We only guide you to help you determine what you need in your home. Advice is given in good faith and it is always your decision to accept guidance on whether or not to keep particular possessions. Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms cannot therefore accept responsibility for the consequences of such decisions. Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms cannot be held liable for any possessions or items that have been discarded.
REMOVAL OF POSSESSIONS
We encourage recycling items where possible or donations to registered charities. You may even choose to sell possessions or items that you no longer need. Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms is unable to provide a valuation service, nor do we have expertise to identify items of special value or rarity. In any event, possessions or items disposed of are your sole responsibility. Items to be removed from your premises, either for disposal or to other locations, must be at your own discretion. Disposal will not take place without your authorisation. The client accepts responsibility for all or any items disposed of in the decluttering process. Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms is happy to help with such disposal of some small items for a fee (e.g. removal to local charity shop) if we are able to do so. You are responsible for removing larger items.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms might use before and after photographs to support a client’s organisation journey.
These photographs are the property of Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms.
With your permission Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms might use these photographs as example of our work, and to inspire others on this website and on social media platforms. Photographs are always anonymised; the client cannot be identified through them, except if we have received your permission to do so.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms may make suggestions on additional products and services by third parties. Although we always do our best to ensure we recommend high quality products and services we are unable to accept any responsibility or liability should the products or services cause you direct or consequential loss or damage.
CLEANING
Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms is not a cleaning service and we are therefore unable to provide cleaning services.
CANCELLATION POLICY
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
CANCELLED SESSIONS – Illness or Bad Weather
Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms will endeavour to ensure your scheduled session always runs. However, from time to time unforeseen circumstances will prevent this. They will ALWAYS attempt to make contact with you if a session is cancelled, either via phone, text or email. Please ensure you always check your phone prior to leaving for your session. If Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms has deemed the weather fit to travel and has still run the session but you personally have decided not to attend then no refund will be given if the session was run.
Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire booking. They are not obliged to guarantee an alternative session for missed sessions (unless this is due to them cancelling a session). If your doctor or health visitor provider requests that you cease attending sessions due to medical reasons, on production of a medical certificate you will be refunded for your booking.
We appreciate that both you and Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms may need to reschedule a session you have booked. All rescheduled sessions must be completed within two months of the original session time and date. There is no charge for rescheduling a session.Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance of the session will be refunded in full.Should you cancel within less than three clear calendar days’ notice and are not looking to reschedule your session to another time and date, you will be charged for the 1st three hours of work. Cancellations made on the same calendar day as the booked session may not be refunded and will be charged for the full quoted amount.Cancellations of rescheduled sessions are not eligible for refund.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is required in advance of your session unless otherwise discussed. Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms accepts payment by cash, or direct by BACS using the bank details shown on your invoice.
Late payments will be subject to late payment interests (at 8% over the Bank of England base rate) and compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment legislation.
Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms reserves the right to increase its rates at any time. Any sessions booked prior to a rate increase will be unaffected by the increase.
CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY
Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms offers complete confidentiality and discretion, and we will never divulge information to any third parties without your consent. The handling of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms are fully compliant with all relevant legislation. By entering into contract with Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms you agree that your personal details will be held securely, to be used only in connection with the services carried out by Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms.
DISPUTE & RESOLUTION
If you disagree with an invoice you have received from Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms, please email us within 7 calendar days and we will get back to you within 3 business days. Any invoice which has not been disputed within 7 days will be regarded as valid and undisputed.
INSURANCE
When Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms provides in-home service, whilst every care will be taken with your possessions whilst in your home, Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms cannot be held liable for any direct or consequential loss or damage. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate and appropriate insurance for your possessions.

Nicola’s Rainbow Rooms holds Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance by Balens LTD.
When you sign a consent form or attend a session, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
