What is Meditation?

Meditation explained

Meditation is a wonderful way to relax, reduce stress and live a more peaceful and fulfilling life. Whether you want to improve your sleep, relationships, or general wellbeing. Whatever you wish to gain, meditation can assist us to be more effective in all we do. It can enrich our lives and bring many physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits.

Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years and there is now much research that proves it’s benefits. It allows us to go beyond (to transcend) the noise and activity of the mind and go to quieter and quieter levels of stillness and silence, to the field of all possibilities. We can then bring this back into our daily lives and begin to see the benefits unfold. When we meditate, we are in the deeply nourishing state known as ‘restful awareness’, where we experience a deep level of rest, even though the mind is still fully alert, which can counteract the fight flight stress response.

Many people are searching for an answer to the constant stresses and demands of daily life, particularly during these crazy, busy times of relentless schedules and social media. Meditation for me truly was the answer, it was life changing and I could not now imagine life without it.

The course…

During this four- session course you will be learning about and experiencing the many benefits of meditation

Primordial Sound Meditation is an ancient meditation technique dating back thousands of years to the Vedic traditions of India. Dr Deepak Chopra and Dr David Simon, alongside Roger Gabriel have revived this ancient process and made it available in a format that is easy for anyone to learn.

“At the deepest level, meditation is about awakening to who you really are. It is a progressive quieting of the mind until you get to the stillness and silence of pure consciousness, where you experience your true nature, which is infinite love, peace, joy, and bliss.”
Deepak Chopra
